Field Trip Policies

In order to help ensure you and your class have the best experience possible at the Aquarium, please take a moment to review our Field Trip Policies below.

  • We require a ratio of 1 chaperone per 10 students and recommend a 1:5 ratio. (To support the 1:5 ratio, we provide complimentary admission for 1 chaperone per 5 students.) Students should always stay with their assigned group and chaperone.
  • School Group bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance.
  • Seating on-site is limited. The Moon Jelly Cafe seating is reserved for guests who are purchasing lunch. There is a pavilion near the entrance for groups who opt to bring their own lunch.
  • All guests at the Aquarium are expected to demonstrate respect for the animals, staff, and other guests.
  • Be sure to review the Teacher Quick Facts guide (and complete the School Group Check-In Form portion) and bring it with you to give to admissions when you arrive
