Have you seen the new mural in Passages of the Deep? The newest mural in our Passages of the Deep tunnels transports guests to a kelp forest during the Miocene, where ancient giants once ruled the ocean. Created by artist Charles Nye over 35 hours, the massive 11 x 42′ piece depicts a dramatic moment as an early baleen whale (Cophocetus), narrowly escapes an attack from Otodus megalodon.
