Jelly Gallery

Step into the depths of our Jelly Gallery and find yourself surrounded by drifting jellies.

These boneless, brainless creatures cannot swim on their own–rather, they rely on currents, their movements changing with the water’s flow. The largest jelly is the size of a dinner plate, the smallest no bigger than a salt shaker.

At the center of this gallery stands a moon jelly sphere, water rippling over its surface and inviting visitors to feel the flow.

See what jellies call the Aquarium home!

As part of the Aquarium’s plan for indoor gallery improvements, the Jelly Gallery was the third part of our indoor galleries to open post-renovations. As an entirely new gallery section, these visitor favorites have a dedicated area where they can be viewed and highlighted.
