Sleep in the Deep

Take a snooze surrounded by sharks, rays, rockfish, wolf eels and other sea creatures!

Our Sleep in the Deep experience takes place in our Passages of the Deep, an underwater tunnel coursing through three ocean habitats.

Sleep in the Deep is a wonderful opportunity for School, Scout, or Church groups with children 8 years or older and their chaperones to have a more in-depth visit at the Aquarium. Sleepovers include hands-on activities, a scavenger hunt through the exhibits and a morning behind-the-scenes tour! After a fun-filled evening exploring life under the ocean, groups spend the night drifting off to sleep surrounded by the denizens of the deep. All of our sleepovers include dinner and breakfast.

Sleepovers take place every Tuesday and Thursday, and every first and third Friday of the month. Sleepovers are not offered in the month of December. All three sections of Passages are available as sleepover locations, though be aware that spots are limited in each tunnel. Once you’ve reviewed our Sleepover Frequently Asked Questions below, reach out to us via our Sleepover contact form to coordinate your Sleep in the Deep.

Please Note: reaching out via the contact form is not a reservation; rather, it is the first step in the reservation process. Staff will be in contact with you as quickly as possible to discuss your Sleep in the Deep experience and confirm your space. Only those with a confirmed reservation may participate in this program.
