The Aquarium is committed to providing opportunities for children to fall in love with exploring nature using their imagination and creativity, and to nurturing their caring attitude toward the environment. Our Nature Play area is specific to the Oregon coastal forest, helping to develop and reinforce a sense of place. It is intended to spark children’s sense of wonder as they discover the natural world around them, and to help connect families to nature, both at the Aquarium and after their visit.
