PHOTOGRAPHY

Guests are welcome to take photos for non-commercial purposes during their visit. The use of flash is prohibited within our indoor spaces and discouraged elsewhere, as many of our animals are sensitive to flash photography. The Oregon Coast Aquarium does not permit the use of tripods or other equipment that interferes with the guest experience. If a guest’s photography is negatively impacting other visitors or our animals, staff may ask the guest to halt or exit the premises.

Location Guidelines:
Permission for commercial photography and filming at the Aquarium can be obtained only from the Marketing department; please direct such inquiries to [email protected].

PERMISSIONS

The Aquarium sometimes photographs and records visitors for educational and promotional purposes. Entry to the Aquarium’s facilities grants permission for the Aquarium to use these images and recordings. Ticket bearers irrevocably consent that any photographs, videos, voice recordings or similar materials taken of the bearer by the Aquarium or any modification of the same may be used by the Aquarium or any parties permitted by the Aquarium for the purposes of illustration, promotion, advertising, video presentation or publication in any manner deemed appropriate by the Aquarium. The bearer agrees that all such materials shall be the sole property of the Aquarium. The Oregon Coast Aquarium values and respects the privacy of our visitors—if during your Aquarium visit you see an Aquarium photographer and prefer not to be photographed, please let them know directly and they will do their best to accommodate.
