A caiman hides in plain sight near a gnarled mangrove, nose and eyes barely visible above the surface of the river. Below, red-bellied piranhas school in murky waters, waiting for their next meal.
Opening summer 2026, this exhibit highlights four distinct ecoregions, including the Amazon basin’s savannah, tropical rainforests, flooded forests, and river system.
We invite you to contribute to this exhibition, championing environmental education through art, storytelling, discovery, and science. Donations of $250 or more received by December 31, 2025 will be recognized on a special donor list displayed in the exhibit.
