Adoptions: Unique Gifts that Support Our Mission

Animal Adoptions make great gift–for both the recipients and the Aquarium’s animals. Adoptions help us provide our animals with the highest quality nutrition, daily care, and medical attention possible.

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a nonprofit organization that receives very little government funding, making Animal Adoptions and other forms of support critical to our mission. You can symbolically adopt any of the animals listed below. Adoptions will be mailed directly to the address of your choice; please allow 10 days for processing. Adoption gifts mailed outside of the continental United States will be subject to additional postage and shipping lead times.

Some animals can be adopted by name, such as Earle the Sea Otter, while others are simply the species of animal, like Leopard Shark. Don’t see who you’re looking for? Each adoption package features a different set of animals to choose from, be sure to check them all!
