Aquarium Welcomes Sea Otter Pup

A young rescued male southern sea otter pup (Enhydra lutris neresis) was introduced to his new home in the Sea Otter Exhibit at the Oregon Coast Aquarium today, under close supervision of Aquarium mammalogists. The pup, designated #564, was transported from the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California February 22 and has been living in a separate holding pool since his arrival.&nbs... more

Hospitality Days for Lincoln County

The Sea & Me Opens May 26

The Oregon Coast Aquarium will open The Sea and Me, a new children’s interactive exhibit, amid Memorial Day weekend festivities, May 26-28, 2012. Spring Break Activities

Activities for all ages are offered during Spring Break at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. In addition to daily animal feedings and hands-on exhibits, the Aquarium will offer animal encounters, a chance to “Sleep with the Sharks” and outdoor explorations.
