The Sea of Lights Dec. 2 and 3

"Creatures" October 29

The Oregon Coast Aquarium’s annual Halloween event, “Creatures,” will creep back to the Oregon Coast Aquarium Saturday, October 29 with two events. “Creatures of the Day” is a gentler event for goblins 9 years old and under from 10 am to 4 pm. Ocean Art Classes for Kids

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is offering two art classes created for older kids and teens, taught by Newport artist Ron Houchens. The classes will help support the Aquarium’s Oceanscape Network, an online resource currently under development, which will connect kids and teenagers with the ocean. Aquarium to Celebrate Sharks

Rogue Unveils Anaconda Ale to Benefit Aquarium

Just as the Oregon Coast Aquarium’s husbandry staff began maternity watch on the soon-to-be mama anaconda in its Swampland exhibit, Rogue Ales unveiled a new Anaconda Ale in her honor.  Anaconda Ale will be sold at Rogue Ales Brewpubs and the Aquarium gift shop, with a portion of the proceeds to go toward veterinary care and feeding of Aquarium animals. ... more
