"Thank You, Lincoln County!" 3rd Annual Hospitality Days

April 15, 2007

May is for hospitality employees at the Oregon Coast Aquarium

The Oregon Coast Aquarium thanks Lincoln County hospitality employees with free admission to the Aquarium during the third annual Hospitality Days. The Aquarium says, “thank you” to all of Lincoln County’s hospitality employees from May 1st through May 25th, as hospitality employees receive free admission to the Aquarium. Front line employees at hotels, motels, restaurants, food service workers and gas station employees will get in for free! Plus, they may bring 2 guests for $6 admission each.

“We know that when visitors ask about local attractions, hospitality employees often send them to the Oregon Coast Aquarium,” says Public Relations Officer, Cindy Hanson. “We’d like to say thank you and give our neighbors the chance to rediscover their Aquarium. Coastal businesses rely on each other—we’re interdependent in many ways and we want to reach out and say thank you in a meaningful way,” according to Hanson. She said the Aquarium now has a visitor guide in Spanish, so Hispanic visitors may better enjoy the Aquarium.

Hospitality employees will be asked for proof of their employment in Lincoln County by showing a pay stub or employee identification. Additionally, they may bring two guests who will be admitted for half of regular adult admission each. There is no limit on the number of visits they can make from Sunday, May 1st through Thursday, May 25th.
