Aquarium To Host Mothers' Day Weekend Garden Festival

The weekend will offer organic gardening resources, garden art and festivities both days

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is presenting a special two day Mother’s Day Weekend event to honor mothers and mother earth, May 12 and 13 from 10 am to 5 pm. The celebration will offer a wealth of information about gardening and landscaping, displays by local nurseries, artisan booths, guest speakers, children’s crafts, face painting and free raffles.

All mothers and grandmothers receive free admission with a paid guest!

  • Memories By Me – “Bookmark Workshop” crafts in Gleason Room 11am to 3 pm Saturday
  • Ning Samson Author and master gardener will sign copies of her best selling book, "Life’s Long Journey" outside Gift Shop Saturday and Sunday
  • KYTE-FM – Live radio remote Saturday - 11 am – 1 pm
  • Aquarium Landscape Tours – Meet in back of Admissions counter (group size no more than 15, first come first serve) 11:30am and 2:30 pm Saturday and Sunday
  • Face Painting - At Passages of The Deep entrance 11 am – 3 pm Sat and Sun
  • Raffle Drawings - Free raffles featuring numerous prizes including gardening gift certificates, gift baskets and plants. Need not be present to win
