20th Annual Sea of Lights
Wander the grounds of the Aquarium as you've never seen them before - festooned with holiday decorations and tens of thousands of colorful twinkling lights and lighted displays. Our guests can also visit with Santa in his workshop or enjoy our enormous and beautifully lit Christmas tree and live holiday music. Kids can delight with holiday-themed face-painting while parents take pleasure in shopping the relaxed atmosphere of our Aquarium Gift and Book Store, which provides a huge variety of ocean-related merchandise including apparel, jewelry, toys, books, videos and more.
This festive holiday celebration runs from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on both Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1.
Donations: Admission is $2.00 per person with two items of non-perishable food, pet food or new unwrapped children's toy. Human food will be given to the Food Share of Lincoln County. Animal food will be given to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter. All collected toys will be donated for the Newport Fire Department’s Holiday Toy Drive. An admission fee of $5.00 will be charged for persons without food or toy. Admission is free to members.

Plus, Join Us for "Evening Lights" Throughout December
The Aquarium will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Sunday – Thursday, this holiday season for “Evening Lights”. This evening event is in addition to the Aquarium’s regular winter hours (10:00am to 5:00pm). The special extended times start on Sunday, December 2nd, and run through Sunday, December 30th, 2012 (excluding December 24th and 25th).
Admission is $8 at the door, or free to members and guests with a same day pass. Santa Claus will be on site and available for pictures during the evening hours until December 23rd, and the Snow Queen will be visiting until December 30th. Come join in on the Holiday fun at the Oregon Coast Aquarium’s “Evening Lights”.
