$2.00 per person with 2 cans of non-perishable human or animal food, or $5.00 per person without food donation.

Creatures of the Day & Creatures of the Night are the Aquarium's famous (or is it infamous?) Halloween celebrations! This year, the double event returns for another round of goblins, ghouls, ghosts and good times.

Creatures of the Day: For Younger Visitors & The Faint of Heart

As in year's past, we are offering our scare-free Creatures of the Day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event is specifically for younger visitors (recommended for those under age 9) or those who just don't care for the scare. Events will include free face-painting, a costume contest, Halloween storytelling events, and free goodies for the kids.

The Aquarium will close after this event at 4:00 p.m. to redress the grounds for Creatures of the Night.  Doors will reopen at 6:30 p.m. for the Night event.

Creatures of the Night: For the Brave & Foolhardy

If a frightening good time is more to your taste, join us in the evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for as many chills and thrills as your heart can handle. Wander through the dark and meandering hallways and grounds of the Aquarium, completely redressed in the spirit of the season. Venture into the logging camp run by crazed "Axed Men," buy a ticket to your doom at the "Creepshow Cinema," or flee from zombie hoards as they flood through the outdoor canyons!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the frightening nature of Creatures of the Night, we do not recommend that children under the age of ten or with more sensitive natures participate in this event. Parental discretion is strongly suggested.  We do not recommend toddlers or young children attend at all. Due to safety concerns in dimly lit areas, strollers will not be allowed on the grounds during Creatures of the Night.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Admissions:

Admission for both events is only $2 plus two cans of non-perishable food for the Newport Food Pantry, partnering with the Food Share of Lincoln County; or animal food for the Central Coast Humane Society; or $5.00 per person without food items.
